"But it's up to them, they can do that." Money, of course, not only buys you new tools with which to blow people up, like rocket launchers, grenades, shotguns and the like, but also helps secure support from fellow mercs. We certainly like the idea of pinching a poorly guarded helicopter or tank and going for a joyride with newfound rentafriends.

Mercenaries review:
Mercenaries is definitely a worthwhile action experiance, and maybe be the cornerstone for new and unique action titles for years to come. Makes a good buy or maybe a rent if you have plenty of time on your hands.
Mercenaries review:
I., this game is definitely one of the best titles for the PS2 so far in 2005, and should remain that way for months to come. My only chagrin is lack of Multiplayer, but thankfully the developers intent was to provide a great single player experience, and that they delivered with the force of a tomahawk cruise missile.
Mercenaries review:
The story for Mercenaries starts as North Korea has developed nuclear weapons and the Australian Navy intercepted a cargo ship containing nuclear weapons being sold to terrorists. Very soon after, different nations including China, South Korea, Russia, and the Allied Nations invade North Korea in the search for General Song and his nuclear arsenal.
